Request for Support/Intake
Our intake process will assist in identifying supports that may be beneficial to you, your family member, a student or client. When you complete our intake form, you can expect to:
Receive information on relevant laws, polices, programs and practices that improve the lives of our friends with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
Receive referrals to agencies and organizations that can assist with the identified needs; and
Develop advocacy and empowerment skills

WHO CAN REQUEST SUPPORT
Support can be requested by:
People with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities;
Interested community members
There are no fees for our support services.
The Arc of Northern Shenandoah Valley is not a legal service and does not provide legal advice. Additionally, we do not offer in-person advocacy at Individual Educational Program meetings or Dispute Resolution sessions.
